The Beechwood High School Jazz Ensemble meets after school beginning in January and features some of the best musicians in the program. The Jazz Ensemble performs top-level jazz literature for the community as well as school-sponsored events. One of the groups most popular performances is the annual “Sweet Jazz” concert held annually in the spring semester. The Jazz Ensemble also performs at the spring concert. In 2010, the Jazz Ensemble was selected to play at the KMEA conference in Louisville. The Jazz Ensemble is under the direction of Mr. Austin Bralley.
